Police are probing a break-in at a house under construction, where several installed fixtures were stolen over an extended period.
According to investigators, unknown individuals used power tools to remove windows, a front door, and a kitchen sink that had already been fitted to the structure. Officers searched nearby areas but were unable to locate the stolen items.
Police believe the offenders may have had time and familiarity with the site, given the nature of the items removed and the tools used.

Fellas looking to get killed
Well I hope somebody find their ass cause that’s wickedness
I unequivocally stand with the victim of this crime. It is infuriating that after years of disciplined work and personal sacrifice, law-abiding citizens can be deliberately exploited by individuals who steal, deceive, and profit from dishonesty.
I entrusted a corporal of the Antigua and Barbuda Police Constabulary who represented himself as an experienced builder, claiming to have constructed three houses. That trust was grounded in shared community ties: we are from the same village, his older siblings and I were childhood friends, and we attended the same school. Most importantly, he was a sworn police officer—someone duty-bound to uphold the law, not violate it.
That trust was deliberately betrayed. This police officer, acting as a builder, engaged in clear fraud. He used substandard materials, applied the wrong type of paint resulting in rapid deterioration, and delivered a house that, despite being less than a year old, already shows significant decay. The electrical wiring was dangerously and irresponsibly installed, creating a serious risk of fire or explosion. He then abandoned the project in an unfinished state after unlawfully pocketing in excess of $90,000.00.
This matter was formally reported to the Commissioner of Police. To date, no visible or meaningful action has been taken. This inaction is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about accountability, transparency, and equal application of the law—particularly when the alleged offender is a member of the police force.
The harm caused by rogue builders extends far beyond financial loss. The psychological toll is severe, and the sense of betrayal is profound. I stand firmly with the victim and urge them not to be silenced or discouraged. Criminal conduct must be confronted, especially when committed by those entrusted to protect the public. Silence and inaction only embolden wrongdoing.
SMH. Is somebody that know did that
I have known Police Corporal Peter Roberts on a personal level for many years. I spent part of my childhood in his family’s yard, where I played alongside his older siblings. His late mother regularly entrusted us to remain at their childhood home while she went to work or into town. This longstanding familiarity makes his conduct all the more alarming.
The behaviour displayed by Police Corporal Peter Roberts is not merely shocking; it is deeply disturbing and profoundly devastating. His actions fall far below the standard of integrity, professionalism, and restraint expected of a police officer. Such conduct raises serious and legitimate concerns about his judgment, character, and ability to discharge his duties responsibly and impartially. It undermines public trust in law enforcement and calls into question whether he is fit to uphold the law and protect the community he is sworn to serve.
I shipped home some hurricane impact windows to fix up the house my mother left me and someone broke in and stole all but one. Sometimes more secretive emergencyReport was made and nothing up to now.
This is a step in the right direction. Crime has been getting out of hand. We need consistent follow-through so these individuals don’t end up right back on the streets.
Imagine working so hard and sacrificing so much to be able to construct a dwelling when this happens. It is heartbreaking and infuriating to say the least. It is my belief that it’s the workers who did this and I would move heaven and earth to have them or whoever did this prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
How can people just walk in and take what isn’t theirs? That’s insane.
