Law enforcement authorities have arrested more than a dozen individuals as part of intensified crime-fighting operations carried out over the Christmas holiday period.
Police executed several targeted search warrants across multiple communities, resulting in the seizure of a range of illegal and suspicious items. Among the recovered property were various rounds of ammunition, a 9mm magazine, a ballistic vest, mobile phones, a laptop computer, quantities of both U.S. and Eastern Caribbean currency, vehicle licence plates, and clothing believed to have been stolen.
Investigators also recovered a motor vehicle that had been reported stolen during a recent robbery in the Cashew Hill area.
The Police Administration says these operations form part of an ongoing effort to disrupt criminal networks and enhance public safety, particularly during the busy festive season.
“The safety of our citizens and visitors remains our top priority,” officials stated, thanking members of the public for their cooperation so far.
Police are urging anyone with information that may assist ongoing investigations to contact the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) without delay.
Investigations remain active, and further arrests or charges are possible.

Looks like many of them will spend new years in jail
It’s scary that there are so many people out there willing to risk it all for a quick steal during the holidays.
