The Ministry of Creative Industries has confirmed that the 2025 Antigua and Barbuda National Music Awards (ABNMA) will be staged on Thursday, February 26, 2026, celebrating the nation’s musical excellence and creative achievements.
Established to formally honour the contributions of musicians, producers, composers, vocalists, arrangers, educators and other creative practitioners, the awards serve as a national platform that highlights the depth and diversity of Antigua and Barbuda’s music industry.
Officials say this year’s staging will continue to build on previous successes — expanding visibility, deepening community engagement and fostering a stronger appreciation for local talent across all genres and generations.
Nominations for the 2025 awards will open on January 6, 2026, when the full list of categories will also be announced. The Ministry is encouraging artists, industry professionals and the general public to take part in the nomination process and support the recognition of outstanding creative work.
The Ministry noted that the ABNMA not only celebrates artistic achievements, but also acts as a driver for growth, innovation, and career development within the cultural sector — particularly for young creatives looking to build a future in music.
“As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to strengthening cultural identity, elevating local talent, and building a sustainable creative economy,” the Ministry stated, adding that it is looking forward to a successful and culturally vibrant year for all stakeholders.
Additional announcements regarding nomination guidelines, award categories and event details will be made through official channels in the coming weeks.
