
A delegation from Antigua and Barbuda’s neurology team recently attended the 2025 American Epilepsy Society (AES) Annual Meeting, gaining exposure to the latest research, treatments, and clinical practices in epilepsy care.
Representing the team were Dr. Gaden Osborne, Neurologist and Chair of Subspecialty Services, Kesha Willock, RN and EEG Technician, and Dr. Ranisha Hazlewood, Neurology Registrar. Their participation allowed them to engage with leading international experts and bring back knowledge directly applicable to patient care at home.
By incorporating the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment, the team aims to enhance care for patients living with epilepsy and provide more comprehensive long-term support for families across Antigua and Barbuda.
The delegation highlighted that staying current with global best practices strengthens the quality of local healthcare services, underscoring the principle that continued learning leads to better outcomes for patients.
This international engagement reflects the country’s ongoing commitment to advancing medical expertise and improving neurological care within the region.
