Suspect Arrested in Ottos Comprehensive School Break‑In

Three men are in police custody assisting with investigations into multiple reports of unauthorized electronic transfers of funds, authorities confirmed on Saturday.

The arrests occurred on Friday, January 2, when police intercepted a white Toyota Ractis along Friendly Alley. The vehicle was driven by a 25-year-old man from Golden Grove and also carried a 19-year-old from Cooks Extension and a 28-year-old from Golden Grove Extension. All three were taken into custody on suspicion of fraud-related offences and transported to St. John’s Police Station.

As part of the ongoing probe, search warrants were executed at the men’s residences. Police seized one silver HP laptop, a Digicel mobile phone, and a storage vault during the searches, which are believed to be connected to the alleged offences.

Investigations are continuing, and authorities have assured the public that further updates will be released as more information becomes available.

The police have urged anyone with information regarding financial fraud or electronic crimes to contact the Criminal Investigations Department to assist in the investigation.
