Chicken Theft Under Investigation After Break-In at Goodwill Agencies

Approximately 150 cases of chicken meat were stolen following a break-in at Goodwill Agencies on All Saints Road, prompting a police investigation.

According to State Media, the intruders gained access by cutting into a 40-foot shipping container located on the company’s compound and removing an entire pallet of frozen chicken. A further 48 cases were later recovered a short distance from the container.

Law enforcement officials have since launched an investigation into the incident and are continuing efforts to identify those responsible for the theft.

In the meantime, Goodwill Agencies is cautioning the public and business operators to exercise care when purchasing chicken meat, noting that stolen products may have been compromised or contaminated during removal and handling.

The company has advised consumers to buy only from reputable sources as investigations continue.
