Sir Rodney and Lady Sandra Williams with Joshuanette Francis, founder of Good Humans 268
The socially conscious environmental organisation Good Humans 268 has been officially welcomed under the patronage of the Halo Foundation, the philanthropic organisation founded by Sir Rodney Williams and Lady Williams.
The formal welcome took place last week during a meeting at Government House, where the Governor General and Lady Williams, Patron and President/Founder of the Halo Foundation, respectively, met with Joshuanette Francis, founder and president of Good Humans 268.
Described as a warm and engaging exchange, the meeting provided an opportunity for Francis to outline her vision for the organisation and to highlight its ongoing work in promoting environmental awareness, community responsibility, and advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities.
In a statement issued following the meeting, Government House noted that the Halo Foundation is proud to support initiatives that reflect its core values of compassion, inclusion, and social responsibility. The partnership is expected to strengthen Good Humans 268’s capacity to expand its outreach and impact across Antigua and Barbuda, while advancing shared goals of sustainable development and social equity.
The welcoming of Good Humans 268 under the Halo Foundation’s umbrella underscores a continued commitment by the Governor General and Lady Williams to empowering grassroots organisations that are making meaningful contributions to national development and community well-being.

Partnerships like this show that national development is not just about infrastructure, but people and the environment.
This patronage gives credibility and visibility to important work that often goes unseen. Excellent move.
This is a positive step for community work in Antigua and Barbuda. Patronage from the Halo Foundation could bring greater visibility, structure, and resources to the efforts of Good Humans 268, helping their impact reach even more people. Partnerships like this often strengthen grassroots initiatives and make long-term support more sustainable.
This feels like the right partnership. Good intentions backed by structure can go far.
Congratulations miss Francis. Very proud of you and all that you do for the vulnerable
