Tevin Willock of Grays Farm

A man who was being sought by law enforcement is now in police custody following an early-morning operation carried out by officers on Sunday.

Police confirmed that Tevin Willock of Green Bay was apprehended during a targeted exercise conducted by a joint team from the Criminal Investigations Department and the Grays Farm Police Station. The operation took place shortly after 2:00 a.m. in the Perry Bay area.

According to police, Willock was later located near the Hoppers Football Field, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Following his arrest, Willock was transported to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre to receive medical attention for an injury to his back. Investigators said the suspect reported that he was wounded by an unknown individual while running through a yard in an effort to evade police.

Medical officials indicated that Willock sustained an injury to the right side of his back, which resulted in damage to his lung. His condition has been described as stable, and he remains under police guard while receiving treatment.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda said investigations into the circumstances surrounding the injury are ongoing.
