Caretaker for the All-Saints West constituency, Harold Lovell, has dismissed Prime Minister Gaston Browne’s threat to pursue legal action, claiming the prime minister is merely “calling a bluff” and will never sue.
Prime Minister Browne recently announced plans to initiate legal proceedings against the United States–based law firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner, seeking exemplary damages over what he alleges are defamatory statements linked to his involvement in the Alfa Nero superyacht matter.

According to Browne, the law firm failed to comply with a pre-action request issued by his legal team at Rika Bird & Associates in late November. Instead, he claims the firm committed “a further act of defamation,” prompting his decision to escalate the dispute to the courts.

This Alfa Nero saga keeps dragging on and damaging Antigua’s image internationally. Someone needs to bring closure.
Lovell has a point. We’ve heard legal threats before that never materialize. Either sue or stop the theatrics.
Those objective Antiguans know GB is a loud mouth arrogant jackass. He is now proving this on the world stage. He will never sue, as hw cannot afford any investigations into his affairs!!
