The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) has released its 2025 Year-in-Review video, highlighting a year marked by increased airlift, major destination events, and expanded focus on culinary and experiential tourism.
The video showcases Antigua and Barbuda’s continued evolution beyond its reputation as a beach destination, spotlighting a diverse range of experiences including sailing, Culinary Month, Antigua Carnival, Art Week, and significant tourism infrastructure developments.
According to the Tourism Authority, the review reflects the country’s strategic positioning as a multifaceted destination offering culture, cuisine, events, and authentic experiences alongside its natural beauty.

“2025 has been a year of momentum, meaningful connections, and continued growth for our tourism industry,” James said. “We strengthened our global reach, showcased our culture, and delivered experiences that differentiate and define our twin-island paradise.”
James also expressed appreciation to the tourism sector’s stakeholders, crediting their contributions to the destination’s success. He thanked tourism partners, frontline workers, content creators, cultural ambassadors, and local communities for their role in shaping visitor experiences and reinforcing the Antigua and Barbuda brand.
The Year-in-Review video forms part of the Tourism Authority’s efforts to highlight achievements, celebrate collaboration across the sector, and promote the continued development of Antigua and Barbuda as a leading Caribbean destination.
