St. John’s Consultation set to take place later this month
Property and business owners in St. John’s are being invited to share their views at a City of St. John’s Consultation scheduled for January 29 at the John E. St. Luce Conference Center.
The public engagement, hosted by the St. John’s Development Corporation (SJDC), will begin at 5:00 p.m. and aims to gather feedback on key issues affecting the capital, including city aesthetics, garbage collection and disposal, curbs and drains, road infrastructure, littering, and the demolition of derelict buildings.
The consultation will feature Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, along with several Cabinet ministers, including Hon. Rawdon Turner, Hon. Steadroy Benjamin, Hon. Maria Browne, and Hon. Charles “Max” Fernandez.

St. John’s should be the pride of the country, but right now it doesn’t reflect that. Serious planning and follow-through are needed.
If they really deal with derelict buildings, that alone would make a big difference.
I am happy that stakeholders are invited to share and participate in the government plans to improve the city
We have plenty issues in St Johns so bring it on
Lets see what the consulation brings
City aesthetics important, but garbage collection needs fixing urgently. That alone would make a big difference
St. John’s supposed to be the capital, but it embarrassing in some areas. Fix the basics first.
St. John’s deserves development that reflects the people who live and work there.
