Cedar Grove Home Burglarized; Cash, Watch and Perfumes Stolen

If someone is attempting to sell used or high-end perfumes at unusually low prices or under suspicious circumstances, don’t. That’s because the items may have been stolen.

Police are investigating a breaking and larceny incident in Cedar Grove after a 65-year-old woman reported that her home was burglarized on Friday, January 16, 2026.

According to police reports, Joycelyn Joseph contacted the Langford Police Station after discovering that her residence had been broken into sometime between 11:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. During the incident, $1,100 EC in cash and several valuable items were stolen.

Investigations revealed that the intruder or intruders gained entry by removing two panes of louvre glass from an eastern bathroom window. Once inside, the house was ransacked.

Police say $1,100 EC in cash, a Michael Kors watch and a quantity of perfumes were stolen from a northern bedroom.

Additional items, including perfumes, Vans caps and a watch of unknown value, were taken from a southern bedroom belonging to the complainant’s granddaughter.

The suspect or suspects are believed to have exited the home through a southern door.

Several individuals in the area were interviewed and a search was conducted for the stolen items, but no useful information was obtained. The Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU) is expected to process the scene as investigations continue.

  2. Seems like Antiguans have a very hard time with staying away from crime. Seems to their hobby. It’s so damn upsetting that not even a perfume is safe at someone’s home
