The Board of Education is set to officially launch a new video series aimed at pulling back the curtain on the people, processes and systems that play a critical role in supporting education across Antigua and Barbuda.
The series provides the public with an inside look at the Board’s core operational functions, including procurement, logistics, textbook distribution, project management and information technology.
Through engaging, behind-the-scenes features, the videos illustrate how careful planning, accountability and innovation work together to ensure schools are properly resourced and students are equipped for success.
“This series is about visibility and trust,” said Executive Secretary of the Board of Education, Mrs. Carla Farquhar. “Education does not function in classrooms alone. Behind every textbook, laptop and learning resource is a dedicated team committed to efficiency, responsible stewardship and national development.”
The first installment of the series focuses on the Board’s IT-EDU Laptop Programme, highlighting how technology is strategically deployed, maintained and managed to support modern teaching and learning. The videos also recognise the often unseen professionals whose work behind the scenes has a direct impact on educational outcomes nationwide.
The initiative forms part of the Board of Education’s broader commitment to transparency, public awareness and stakeholder engagement, while underscoring the importance of strong systems in building a resilient, future-ready education sector.
The video series will be released across the Board of Education’s digital platforms beginning this week and will continue throughout 2026.
