Eight women graduated from the Sea View Farm Sewing Project during a ceremony held on Wednesday 18 February, marking another milestone in a community empowerment initiative led by the Rotary Club of Antigua.

The graduates were awarded certificates upon successful completion of the programme, which provides hands-on sewing training while fostering discipline, creativity, and self-reliance.

The initiative is designed to support entrepreneurship, employment, and long-term personal development.

He underscored the role of skills-based training in economic development, explaining that initiatives such as the sewing project contribute to income generation, entrepreneurship, and a stronger overall economic outlook for the country.

Sewing Instructor Bridget Richardson extended sincere thanks to all participants for their dedication and commitment throughout the training. She congratulated the graduates on their achievements and wished them every success in their future endeavours.

Also addressing the graduates, Jan Martinka, Project Coordinator from the Rotary Club of Kirkland Downtown, expressed appreciation to Bridget Richardson for her stewardship and leadership in guiding the participants.
