The trespassing case involving several members of the United Progressive Party (UPP) was further adjourned yesterday following a brief hearing before the Magistrate’s Court.

The matter has been pushed to April 9.

The case stems from a Beach-A-Cade event held on the Whit Monday public holiday, June 9, 2025, during which members of the country’s main opposition party and some supporters visited several beaches, including Fort James, Dickenson Bay, Indian Creek, and Laurys Bay, to highlight issues surrounding beach access

Police allege the group unlawfully entered the premises of the Cinnamint Hill Estate.
