Dalton “Baby J” Cornwall
A Green Bay man is currently in police custody as he assists with investigations into a stabbing incident that resulted in the death of Dalton Cornwall from Jennings.
Dalton was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center after sustaining a puncture wound to his right shoulder during an incident at the Valley Road Service Station around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.
He was pronounced dead shortly after, at approximately 5:08 p.m.
A male suspect from Green Bay has since been arrested and is now in police custody. Investigations into this matter are still ongoing.
In the meantime, the police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information that could aid the investigation to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
The Police Administration extends heartfelt condolences to Dalton’s family as they mourn his tragic loss.
