Antigua and Barbuda’s Queen of Carnival, Kia Kirwan, is set to take the regional stage once again, this time representing her country at the St. Maarten Carnival Caribbean Queen Pageant, scheduled for April 15th at Carnival Village.
The pageant carries the theme “Queens of Sun and Soil”- a celebration of Caribbean women rooted in heritage, identity, and the land they call home.
Kirwan claimed the Queen of Carnival 2025 crown after sweeping the Swimwear and Evening Wear segments of the competition.
Since winning the national title, Kirwan has been a busy ambassador for Antigua and Barbuda on the regional circuit.
She reached the Top 5 at the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant, where she also took home the Award for Best Swimwear. Most recently, she captured First Runner-Up at the Miss OECS 2026 Pageant in Dominica, along with awards for Miss Amity, Best in Swimwear, and Best in Evening Wear.

Hopefully she bring home the crown this time around
