The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 38-year-old man from Glanvilles, who was discovered unresponsive at Lion’s Estate in the Newfield area during the early hours of Monday, March 16.

  • Upon responding to a report, officers found the man with what appeared to be stab wounds on his body.

  • He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators and crime scene technicians are currently processing the area and carrying out further inquiries to establish the precise details of the incident.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld until official identification is completed and next of kin have been notified.

The Police Administration is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information that could aid the investigation to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).

  1. We need to install more CCTV Cameras throughout Antigua and Barbuda. The country is changing from what it was 10 to 20 years ago. Where crimes are concerned and we need to change with it too by installing more security measures throughout the breath of the country. People are going around taking life for small petty things like they give life to that person.
