  1. What about protecting children by making it illegal to smoke in the presence of children? Just pass by any school in the morning and see the amount of fully smoked vehicles dropping off children.

  4. l wonder if this will the tourism industry. l totally agree with public streets, transport etc. however, l am thinking of the tourists who enjoy sitting at bars etc. with a drink and smoking. i.e. Heritage Quay and Jolly Harbour and various other beach bars.

  5. This has nothing to do with public health. It’s another desperate grab for money. Money we all know will not be usedl for the public good.
    We all move around in the public spaces, with car exhaust fumes, refuse and flith everywhere. Why not focus their energies on things that actually matter.

I believe people are seen smoking in public with no regard and no respect for anyone around them. this was the man in reason. you walk into a bus and the srench of cigarettes got you barzoodie. Come on. what does money have to do with respect?
