Night Works to Begin on All Saints Road as Major Reconstruction Push Intensifies

Motorists and residents travelling along All Saints Road are being advised to expect increased activity during the night as reconstruction works on the busy corridor move into an overnight phase.

Heavy-duty equipment will be operating from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. starting tonight, as crews continue rehabilitation works along sections of the roadway. Residents in the Belmont area are being warned to prepare for possible noise, dust, and bright construction lighting during the overnight operations.

Officials have apologised for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their patience as the long-awaited improvement works continue.

The nighttime activity forms part of a broader reconstruction effort now underway along All Saints Road, one of the country’s most heavily travelled routes connecting St. John’s to several southern communities and key tourism areas across Antigua and Barbuda.

For years, motorists and residents have raised concerns about the deteriorating condition of the roadway, with complaints ranging from potholes and uneven surfaces to safety risks for both drivers and pedestrians.

Drivers are being urged to proceed with caution while travelling through active work zones, expect possible delays, particularly during operations and follow all traffic management instructions as the rehabilitation programme continues.
