Police have launched an investigation into a deadly stabbing incident that claimed the life of a 29-year-old man from Mack Pond, All Saints, on Wednesday afternoon.

Preliminary reports indicate that the incident occurred around 5:18 p.m. in the vicinity of the All Saints traffic lights. Authorities say the victim was involved in an altercation with another male when he was stabbed to the back of the neck with a sharp object.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the man to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he was later pronounced dead at approximately 5:58 p.m.

Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.

Authorities are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have relevant information to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the All Saints Police Station at 460-1000, the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913, or call the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).

The Police Administration has extended condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased as the investigation continues.
