Seventeen-year-old Omari Lewis and 18-year-old Brianna Clarke were shot and killed by unknown assailants on Hans Street in what residents have described as a brazen mid-morning attack. Both victims sustained fatal gunshot wounds to the head, leaving the community shaken and demanding answers.
The motive behind the killings remains unclear, as investigators continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting. Police are actively pursuing leads and appealing for information that could help identify those responsible.
Prime Minister Browne visited the scene shortly after the incident, where he was briefed by investigators and met with grieving family members. Visibly moved, he offered words of comfort and solidarity to those mourning the loss of the young couple.

Mr. Prime Minister well said
We need more down to protect our youths. We need especially for parents and communities to step in into the life our youths are living! Protection starts from home
im too broken to speak. instead of giving gifts to bribe people to vote let’s give people bibles.
Yes PM! Sometimes it’s better not to sugar coat things and talk it plain.
Guns being smuggled into the country by those who can do it
PK Browne I feel you. absolutely but it seem like this violence issue is deeper than we think. how is it possible that everyone in Antigua knows where to buy a gun at 400 dollars and the police dont know where to look for guns? PM i know you know what’s going on. look closer
