Mother Appeals for Help Locating Teen Amid Mental Health Crisis

A mother is urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating her teenage son, who she says is experiencing what appears to be a severe mental health episode and is currently wandering the streets.

Teneshia Warren identified her son as Tejornie Mannix, noting that this is the first time he has displayed such concerning behavior. According to the mother, the teen has been moving around aimlessly and avoiding contact, making it difficult for family members to bring him in for medical care.

“He is showing signs of having a mental breakdown,” Warren said in a message shared widely on social media. “Every time we try to approach him, he runs and hides.”

She added that her son has visible bruises on his body, raising further concern for his safety and well-being. Despite occasionally appearing normal, Warren stressed that he urgently needs professional medical attention.

The distressed mother is also worried about how others may perceive his behavior, cautioning that he could be misunderstood. “I don’t want him to get hurt by someone who thinks he’s just causing mischief,” she said.

Warren believes her son may also be hungry and engaging in unusual behavior as a result of his condition.

Members of the public who may have seen Tejornie Mannix or have information on his whereabouts are being asked to contact his mother at 725-0118. Family members are hoping for a swift response to ensure he receives the care he needs.

The situation highlights growing concerns around mental health awareness and the importance of community support in times of crisis.
