The Antigua and Barbuda Under-20 boys 4×100 metres relay team finished ninth overall in the preliminary round at the CARIFTA Games, clocking 41.85 seconds as the quartet fell just short of the eight spots available for the final.

Running in Heat 1, Judah Ashe, Conroy Wilson, Nathaniel Jones and Delbert Joseph placed fourth in their section behind The Bahamas, Guyana and Martinique, with their time of 41.85 not sufficient to advance as one of the four fastest non-section winners.

Trinidad and Tobago posted the fastest overall preliminary time of 39.78 seconds, winning Heat 2 through the combination of Zaccheus Charles, Trevaughn Stewart, Makaelan Woods and Kaeden Herbert.

The Bahamas, whose team of Louben Phillip, Everette Fraser, Terrin Beckles and Eagan Neely clocked 40.37 to win Heat 1, qualified second overall.

Grenada advanced third in 40.49, with Guyana fourth in 40.91.

The final four spots went to Barbados with 40.50s, Jamaica with 40.71s, Martinique with 41.47s and British Virgin Islands with 41.51s.
