Kendra Beazer, ABLP candidate for Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) candidate for Barbuda, Kendra Beazer, has pledged to put people first if elected, telling supporters that leadership must be rooted in service, not self-interest.
Speaking at his campaign launch, Beazer said he does not take the responsibility lightly and vowed to represent Barbudans with integrity.
“I vow to represent your best interest at every point in this journey,” he said.
Beazer urged residents to carefully consider what is at stake in the April 30 general elections, framing the vote as a decision about community wellbeing rather than political loyalty.
“You are electing a representative to look out for your best interest, not somebody that is going to look out for themselves,” he told supporters.
The candidate described his campaign as a “labour movement for the people of Barbuda,” grounded in unity, resilience and community empowerment.
“We are not a platform of division or hate. We are about love, community and resilience,” Beazer said.
He also stressed that Barbuda’s unique needs must be prioritized in national decision-making, arguing that a “one size fits all” approach does not work.
As he closed his remarks, Beazer called on voters to stand firm and participate in the democratic process.
“On April 30, you will have your opportunity to elect a representative who truly represents your interests,” he said.
Beazer is coming up against the BPM’s Trevor Walker.

Beazer, I like you, but not this time. You know Barbuda is for Trevor Walker
Let we see what plan he really have for land and development before I get excited
Sound good on stage, but Barbuda politics different in real life
Barbuda need somebody who will actually work with central government, not fight every minute
A pity you may not win
A pity you may not win
Fresh face, fresh energy. Sometimes change is good, even for Barbuda 💯
