FIshermen rescued after electrical failure

Three fishermen from Antigua and Barbuda were rescued at sea on Monday after their vessel became disabled due to electrical issues near the island of Redonda.

According to reports from the coast guard, the men encountered trouble while at sea when their boat developed electrical problems, leaving them stranded and unable to navigate safely.

An aircraft later spotted the distressed vessel in waters near Redonda, which lies between Antigua and Montserrat. By that time, authorities in St. Kitts had already mobilized and were prepared to assist in the rescue effort.

The St. Kitts Coast Guard subsequently responded and successfully pulled the vessel to safety. The three fishermen were rescued at approximately 3:55 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of injuries, and all three men were safely accounted for following the operation.

  1. You know, I don’t salute people questioning God’s work but sometimes I do it myself. Sometimes I ask, why he does it for some and not for others. Like, those three men were rescued, but a family is currently living in grief because three were lost at sea. Now they are going to raise the same question, seeing this article. I guess, it’s God’s work and he knows why he does certain things but where does that leave our faith at times
