The government has defended its aggressive infrastructure program, acknowledging ongoing frustrations while insisting that progress is already visible across the country.
With hundreds of millions already invested, officials say improvements to roads and water systems are well underway.
“We will continue… to fix every single road in this country,” the Prime Minister declared during his presentation of the ABLP’s manifesto Monday morning at the AUA.
He pointed to unprecedented spending on water infrastructure as evidence of commitment.
“We have invested over $250 million… no other administration has taken this water problem seriously.”
Despite persistent supply issues in some communities, he urged patience, noting that additional upgrades are on the way.
“We have yet another water plant… a three-million-gallon-a-day plant… which will bring our capacity to 14 million gallons a day.”
The Prime Minister also highlighted the scale of ongoing roadworks nationwide.
“It’s not a single constituency that is not benefiting… every single constituency is currently benefiting.”
He framed the effort as a long-term national transformation.
“These are not promises made in abstract… they are work in progress.”
