Dear Editor,
I am writing to bring urgent attention to an ongoing issue that has affected countless users of the public library for years—the unacceptable state of its internet service.
The connection is extremely unreliable, frequently dropping every few seconds. This makes it nearly impossible for students, researchers, and professionals to complete even the most basic online tasks. In today’s digital age, access to stable internet is not a luxury—it is a necessity.
The public library is meant to serve as a hub for learning, research, and productivity.
However, the current situation undermines that purpose entirely. Individuals who rely on this facility, particularly those without internet access at home, are being placed at a significant disadvantage.
This is not a new issue, and the fact that it has persisted for so long raises serious concerns.
It reflects poorly on the management and maintenance of a critical public resource that should be empowering citizens, not frustrating them.
I am calling on the relevant authorities to treat this matter with urgency. A reliable internet connection must be restored so that the library can fulfill its role in supporting education, professional development, and equal access to information.
The people deserve better.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Library User
