Gaston Browne has won St. John’s City West

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has been declared the winner in the St John’s City West constituency, successfully retaining his seat in Thursday’s General Elections.

Browne, the leader of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), went head-to-head with Alister Thomas of the United Progressive Party (UPP).

Browne won 80% of tonight’s votes. He first won that seat in 1999. This is his 7th consecutive win.
