Campaign billboards being deconstructed in Freemans Village

As polls were set to close in 30 minutes, campaign billboards were already being taken down from roadsides and display points across Antigua and Barbuda, signalling the end of weeks of active campaigning in the April 30 general election.

Workers were observed removing party signage at several locations across the country as voting entered its final half hour, with polling stations scheduled to close at 6:00 p.m. ahead of the count that will determine the next government.
