Prime Minister Gaston Browne used his Labour Day platform to call for national unity while sharply criticizing the opposition for internal division.

Reflecting on the political landscape, Browne contrasted his party’s cohesion with what he described as the disintegration of its rivals.

“We saw what has happened with our political opponents
they have disintegrated into nothingness,” he said.

He attributed their decline to infighting, warning that “cannibalization has no role” in a successful political movement.

At the same time, Browne urged citizens to remain united, emphasizing that national progress depends on collective effort.
“The unity of labour is the salvation of our country,” he said.

The Prime Minister positioned his administration as a stable force capable of guiding the country through global uncertainties, reinforcing the mandate received in the recent general election.

He also called on citizens to resist misinformation and division, warning that such forces could destabilize the nation.

“Let us stand against those individuals
to keep this country strong and united,” Browne said.
