The Treasury Department has announced that retroactive salary payments continue to be processed for eligible public sector workers across several government ministries and departments.

According to the Cabinet Notes, payments have already been issued to employees within numerous state agencies, including the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Police, Fire Department, Immigration, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Works, and the Passport Office among many others.

Eligible pensioners and separated public servants are also included in the disbursement process.

The Treasury Department said it had aimed to complete most retroactive payments during April 2026 and indicated that a further update would be provided on May 15.
