Guns Seized and Two Held After Late-Night Police Operation

Police are investigating a dramatic early morning incident involving gunfire and a vehicle pursuit along the Sir Sydney Walling Highway.

According to a police report, an officer observed a white Honda CR-V travelling east when two loud explosions were allegedly heard coming from the vehicle near the Old Parham Road junction.

The officer reportedly discharged warning shots into the air before pursuing the vehicle. Additional officers later responded to the scene near Utopia Park.
