Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of 50-year-old Steve Chambers of Brownes Avenue.

Police in Barbuda are investigating the sudden death of a 49-year-old man after he reportedly complained of chest tightness and breathing difficulties before becoming unresponsive.

According to the police report, the man was found motionless in a bedroom on May 6. Officers said there were no visible signs of violence and foul play was not suspected.

A medical doctor pronounced him dead at the scene before the body was transported to the Hanna Thomas Hospital and later transferred to a funeral home at the family’s request.

Authorities said investigations are continuing.
