Police are reportedly searching for three suspects following a brazen armed robbery at a popular barbershop on Cashew Hill on Saturday afternoon.

According to reports, three masked gunmen entered the popular establishment and robbed approximately five to six people who were inside at the time.

The suspects were reportedly armed with guns and made off with cash and jewellery belonging to victims before fleeing the scene.

Reports further indicate that two shots were fired during the incident, leaving bullet holes at the business. No injuries have been officially reported. Bullets also entered the home of a neighbour.

The owner of the barbershop, Padmore Jeremiah, and the five customers there at the time were left shaken.

Police have since launched investigations and are actively searching for the suspects involved. Authorities are urging anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department or the nearest police station.
