Former national footballer and sports ambassador Garfield “Garry” Gonsalves has once again stepped up in support of local football, donating four footballs to the Antigua Ball Masters as the veteran team prepares for an upcoming tour of Trinidad and Tobago.
The contribution comes at a crucial time as the Antigua Ball Masters finalize preparations for a series of friendly matches and fellowship activities with fellow football veterans during the trip.
Gonsalves, known for his longstanding dedication to the sport and his continued involvement in football development, said he was pleased to lend his support to a team that continues to proudly represent Antigua and Barbuda both on and off the field.
The donated footballs are expected to assist the team with training sessions and match preparations ahead of the tour.
Members of the Antigua Ball Masters expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as another example of Gonsalves’ unwavering passion for football and his commitment to supporting former players and the wider sporting community.
