Teachers at Cedar Grove Primary School were recognized and celebrated for their dedication and service as part of activities marking Teachers’ Appreciation Day, with educators receiving a special show of gratitude for their role in shaping the nation’s future.

As part of the observance, Charles “Max” Fernandez demonstrated his appreciation by providing nutritious lunches for each teacher and the school’s principal. Senator Angelica O’Donoghue was present to distribute the meals and personally thank staff members for their continued commitment to educating and mentoring young people.

Adding a local touch to the celebration, entrepreneur Dadli Dose contributed refreshing local juices, helping to make the occasion even more memorable for the teachers.

The event highlighted the vital role educators play beyond the classroom, recognizing their influence in developing confidence, nurturing ambition, and helping shape the character of future generations.

Organizers emphasized that teachers remain one of the foundations of a productive society, noting that the impact of their work extends well beyond school walls and reaches families, communities and the nation as a whole.

The principal and teaching staff of Cedar Grove Primary School were praised for their service, sacrifice and dedication to the students entrusted to their care, with appreciation expressed for the lasting impact they continue to make every day
