LIAT and Air Caraïbes Partner to Offer Seamless Caribbean and European Connections
Passengers travelling between the Caribbean and Europe are set to benefit from improved connectivity following the signing of a new interline agreement between LIAT (2020) Limited and Air Caraïbes.
The agreement, which takes effect on June 1, 2026, will allow travellers to book flights across both airlines’ networks on a single ticket, streamlining the travel experience and eliminating the need to purchase separate fares for connecting journeys.
Under the arrangement, passengers will also be able to check their baggage through to their final destination, reducing the inconvenience of reclaiming and rechecking luggage during transit.
LIAT Air, headquartered in Antigua, serves destinations throughout the Eastern Caribbean, while Air Caraïbes operates flights linking the French Caribbean territories of Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guiana, as well as long-haul services to Paris.
The two carriers said the partnership is designed to strengthen regional connectivity and provide passengers with easier access to a wider range of destinations. The agreement is also expected to improve travel links between the Caribbean and Europe while supporting tourism, business travel and economic activity across the region.
By combining their networks, the airlines aim to offer more convenient travel options for residents, visitors and members of the Caribbean diaspora seeking smoother connections between islands and international destinations.
Tickets under the new interline arrangement will be available through travel agents and global distribution systems beginning June 1.
The partnership marks another step in LIAT’s efforts to expand its reach and strengthen connections throughout the Caribbean as the airline continues to rebuild and grow its regional network.

Ohhh that’s cool. Sure saves a lot of time and money
