Minister of Education Daryll Matthew has extended best wishes to Grade 6 students across Antigua and Barbuda as they begin their National Assessments today and tomorrow.

In a message to students, Minister Matthew acknowledged the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout their primary school journey and encouraged them to approach the examinations with confidence and determination.

“You have worked hard to reach this stage, and this is your opportunity to showcase the knowledge, skills, and determination you have developed throughout your primary school journey,” the minister said.

He urged students to remain focused and believe in themselves as they complete the important assessments.

“Believe in yourselves, stay focused, and give it your very best effort. Remember, success comes from preparation, perseverance, and confidence,” Matthew stated.

The Education Minister also expressed pride in the nation’s students and said he looks forward to celebrating their achievements.

“Good luck to every student. We are proud of you and look forward to celebrating your achievements,” he added.

Thousands of Grade 6 students across the country are participating in the National Assessments, which play an important role in their transition to secondary school.
