Ottos Mother Seeks Justice After Head Injury in Dispute Involving Teenage Daughter’s Boyfriend

An Ottos New Town mother is seeking justice after a confrontation with her teenage daughter’s boyfriend left her hospitalized with a head injury early Monday morning.

The woman was treated at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre after suffering a bleeding wound to her head during an altercation that occurred shortly after midnight. Police are now investigating the incident.

According to information provided to investigators, the woman became involved in a physical confrontation with the young man and struck him twice with an aluminium stick. She alleged that he retaliated by striking her in the head with a small stone, causing the injury that required medical treatment.

The woman said the incident was the latest in a months-long dispute involving her 16-year-old daughter and the daughter’s boyfriend, whom she believes is between 18 and 19 years old.

“I am tired,” the woman said. “I want justice for my pain and suffering.”

She claimed that despite repeatedly telling the young man to stay away from her property, he continued to visit the residence and spend nights there against her wishes.

According to the woman, tensions have persisted since November 2025. She alleged that items had been stolen from her property and accused the young man of being involved in several incidents that have caused distress and disruption to her household.

The woman also claimed that another person was previously injured during an incident involving the same young man on her property and had to be rushed for emergency medical treatment.

Authorities have not independently verified the woman’s allegations regarding previous incidents. However, investigations into the latest confrontation remain ongoing.

  1. Baby girl! If he can’t respect your mother, he’s not going to respect you. If he doesn’t respect your mother, he’s doesn’t love you. He will kill you if he could injure your mother. And as a young teenager you shouldn’t be with someone who doesn’t respect your mother. And if you yourself respected your mother or even truly loved your mother, you wouldn’t go against her wishes. You wouldn’t do her any evil or harm or be friends with anyone who does her evil or harm. I hate to see how these young kids have absolutely no respect for their parents. It is sickening!

  2. You wanted him out your house I truly understand! But your daughter is bringing him there. Let’s talk about that. Don’t your “teenager” daughter have any respect for you? How are we raising kids in this day and age? Back in my prime I couldn’t even let my mother know I had a boyfriend. These days, teenagers are spending time as boyfriend and girlfriend at parent’s house alone, or behind close bedroom doors. I have scars from when my mother found out I had a boyfriend in college. Now it’s just okay for high school kids to have boyfriend and all these things.

Disrespectful that is what it is these you people feel they entitled to do as they like in your place that you work for but since you want boyfriend and want him in my place ,you and he would have had to leave my place and find your own cause two big woman and big man cannot share the same space and I stand my grounds on that you are grown and want to sleep with man keep moving and I say it with no apology

  5. My daughter is in her twenties and that is not happening with me and it was also my mother concept but some parents think them and their kids are the same age and they in courage them with the ignorance and when is time to pull the plug it end up this way at sixteen and you want to sleep in my house with man the altercation would have never happen because I wasn’t going to start having him there in the first place

  6. This is not a good look as teenagers. I am a teenager myself and I can’t try that with my mother. I guess some parents don’t care as much as mine until it gets bad.

  7. This HEADLINE!!!!!!! Now tell me, mother you are to be blamed…. For one she’s only 16 “should still be in school”….. Mother is it your home or your daughter’s? Because I mean if you set your ground rules and she’s breaking them at 16 and you know them, then you have no one too blame but yourself!!! She’s only 16yrs already in an abusive relationship,” you as the mother should have seek a retraining order of protection for him, if you claim you warn him from staying away from your home, and regards to the daughter who’s 16 yrs if she continues to bring him in your home without your consent. Then you should had made a report about that as well….Now look how it has ended not with the daughter being injured but you……SO TO YOU MOTHER YOU ARE AT FAULT…….
