Two Mack Pond Residents Remanded in Connection with Sheldon Dias Murder

A man and a woman have been remanded in custody in connection with the murder of a Mack Pond resident.

Twenty-nine-year-old Kyle Taylor and 30-year-old Candace Sawyers, both of Mack Pond, All Saints, appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel, represented by attorney Wendel Alexander, and were remanded until August 26th.

The pair were jointly charged by the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda in connection with the death of 35-year-old Sheldon Dias, also of Mack Pond.

Police say Dias sustained multiple injuries following an alleged altercation involving both accused on Friday, June 5th at Mack Pond, All Saints.
