ABFC Calls Meeting for 2026 Calypso Monarch Competitors

The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC) has announced a meeting for all registered participants in the 2026 Calypso Monarch Competition as preparations continue for this year’s carnival season.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, at 5:00 p.m. at Carnival City, and will focus on the way forward for the competition.

The Commission is requesting the attendance of all calypsonians registered for the 2026 Calypso Monarch Competition, along with their band members, backup singers, and members of the Calypso Sub-Committee.

According to the ABFC, several important matters relating to the competition will be discussed, including plans and arrangements for the upcoming season.

Participants and other affected persons are being urged to arrive on time to ensure they receive all relevant information and updates.

The Festivals Commission said it looks forward to the cooperation and participation of all stakeholders as it works toward delivering a successful and memorable 2026 Calypso Monarch Competition.
