Opposition Leader and Member of Parliament for St. Mary’s East, Jamale Pringle, and Member of Parliament for Barbuda, Trevor Walker, were officially sworn in during Tuesday’s sitting of Parliament.
Both parliamentarians took the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Office before the commencement of parliamentary proceedings, formally assuming their seats in the House of Representatives.
Pringle and Walker were absent from the official swearing-in ceremony following the April 30 General Election, at which other elected members were sworn in and Parliament was formally constituted.
Their participation in Tuesday’s ceremony now completes the swearing-in process for all elected members of the House.
Pringle secured the St. Mary’s East seat for the opposition, while Walker retained his Barbuda seat, continuing his representation of the sister island in Parliament.
The House of Representatives proceeded with its scheduled business following the administration of the oaths.

Congratulations
Like he and Walker planned that. I’m happy that they are participating in todays debate
