Department of Environment Announces Full Allocation of SIRF Air Conditioning Units

18 June 2026 - 08:03

The Department of Environment has announced that all air conditioning units available under the Sustainable Island Resource Framework (SIRF) Fund have been fully allocated.

In a notice issued to the public, the Department said there are currently no additional units available and, at this time, it is unable to provide a timeline for when new supplies will become available.

Officials assured the public that updates will be provided through the Department’s official communication channels once additional air conditioning units are received.

The Department also reminded residents that Polycarbonate Sheets remain available for purchase through the SIRF Fund programme.

The Department of Environment thanked the public for its continued interest and support of the initiative and encouraged persons to follow its communication platforms for future announcements and programme updates.
