Cabinet has endorsed ambitious plans to transform the Perry Bay and Keeling Point area into a mixed-use development while preserving Darkwood Beach through the creation of a public recreational park.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne advised Cabinet that the Perry Bay project will feature residential housing, a marina and commercial lots designed to stimulate investment and create employment.

Cabinet also received updates on proposals to enhance Darkwood Beach by developing a public park that preserves the area’s natural beauty while expanding recreational opportunities.
Government stressed that comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessments will be completed before either project proceeds.
Cabinet said the assessments will ensure that environmental protection remains central to the planning process as the projects move toward implementation.
Officials described the initiatives as part of Government’s strategy to balance sustainable economic growth with environmental stewardship.

There is so much potential for Perry Bay. I mean it could be something like Jolly Habor, English Habor and I always wondered how the previous administrations never saw the vision that this government is seeing.
So u know how majestic the view is of the St John’s habor and peer from Perry Bay heights or main road.
