Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers has been awarded the prestigious King’s Police Medal (KPM), a distinguished honour recognising exceptional service and leadership in policing.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda announced the award on Wednesday, congratulating Commissioner Jeffers on the achievement and describing it as a reflection of his outstanding contribution to law enforcement and national security.
In a statement, the Police Force said the honour recognises Commissioner Jeffers’ distinguished service, exemplary leadership, and unwavering commitment to policing throughout his career.
“The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda proudly congratulates Commissioner of Police Mr. Everton Jeffers, KPM, on being awarded the King’s Police Medal (KPM),” the statement said.
The Force also expressed gratitude for his continued dedication to the people of Antigua and Barbuda, noting that his leadership has played an important role in advancing the organisation’s mission of maintaining public safety and security.
The King’s Police Medal is awarded to police officers in recognition of distinguished service or exceptional gallantry and is regarded as one of the highest honours in the policing profession.
Commissioner Jeffers’ award adds to a career marked by decades of service in the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda and recognises his commitment to upholding law and order in the country.
