Free CXC now permanent policy
The Ministry of Education has formally adopted the Government’s National CXC Examination Fee Support Programme as permanent policy.
The initiative covers candidate entry fees, subject fees and local examination fees for eligible students sitting CCSLC, CSEC and CAPE examinations.
Government funding will cover up to five CCSLC subjects, ten CSEC subjects and five CAPE subjects.
Students will be required to maintain satisfactory attendance, complete School-Based Assessments and sit registered examinations to remain eligible.
The programme applies to eligible students in public and private schools, ABCAS and approved home-schooling programmes.

Does that apply to private centers as well?
