Antigua Carnival 2026 got off to a vibrant start on Saturday as thousands of revellers filled the streets of St. John’s for the annual Opening Parade and T-Shirt Mas, officially ushering in this year’s festival celebrations.

Among those joining the festivities was Minister of Festivals Dwayne George, who was seen enjoying the celebrations with members of Bacchanal Carnival while proudly representing Insane Carnival. The minister mingled with revellers and took part in the road festivities as the capital came alive with music, dancing and Carnival spirit.
