Successful T-Shirt Mas Marks the Opening of Antigua Carnival 2026

Antigua Carnival 2026 got off to a vibrant start on Saturday as thousands of revellers filled the streets of St. John’s for the annual Opening Parade and T-Shirt Mas, officially ushering in this year’s festival celebrations.

The minister mingled with revellers and took part in the road festivities as the capital came alive with music, dancing and Carnival spirit.

The successful staging of T-Shirt Mas sets the tone for what is expected to be another exciting Carnival season, with days of competitions, cultural events and street celebrations still to come.
