A silver Toyota Axio that was the subject of a public appeal by a local rental company has been recovered.

108 Estate confirmed that the vehicle, bearing registration number 4384, has been found, bringing an end to the search that began after the company reported losing contact with the individual who had rented it.

The company had previously appealed to the public for assistance, stating that repeated attempts to contact the renter since Friday had gone unanswered and asking anyone with information about the vehicle’s whereabouts to come forward.

No details have been released about where or when the vehicle was recovered, and the company has not indicated whether any further action will be taken.
