Two Men Arrested After Police Execute Search Warrants in Hatton
Police have detained a man and a woman in connection with ongoing murder investigations following a series of coordinated operations carried out across several communities on Monday.
The arrests came as officers executed multiple operations aimed at advancing investigations into a number of recent homicides.
During the exercises, police seized several items that investigators believe may be relevant to their enquiries. Among the items recovered were jewellery, clothing, six mobile phones, an electronic tablet, a notebook and two surveillance cameras.
The two suspects were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody while investigators continue their enquiries. Authorities have not disclosed which specific murder cases the pair are linked to, and no formal charges have been announced.
In a statement, the Police Administration said investigators are continuing to pursue every available lead and remain committed to identifying and prosecuting those responsible for the recent acts of violence.
The force is again urging anyone with information that could assist the investigations to come forward. Members of the public can contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914, or provide information anonymously through Crimestoppers by calling 800-TIPS (8477).
Police have indicated that the investigations remain active and further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
